The Path Less Raveled

Vendor Spotlight: Megan Groves, The Path Less Raveled

Megan Groves launched her business in 2014, but her path toward entrepreneurship began much earlier.

“I always remember my mom sewing, and at a very young age she taught me,” Megan says. “By the time I was in high school I was sewing quilts, clothes and even an 1880s reproduction ball gown. I’ve always loved vintage and historical fashion, so creating clothes with vintage style was a natural progression for me.”

Today, Megan creates vintage-inspired children’s clothing, bags and purses using a combination of new and old materials. “I love the character and patina of vintage textiles, and it’s so fulfilling to give them new life as something both useful and beautiful,” she says. “I make each item by hand, with attention to special details and beautiful finishing inside and out. I’m often asked if I sew everything myself and the answer is yes!”

Come see The Path Less Raveled on September 30 from 10AM – 4PM at McConkey’s Market in Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA).
